“Whoever alleviates a believer's worries, Allah will alleviate his heart on the Day of Resurrection.” Imam Ali Reza (as) [al-Kafi, p. 200, no. 4]

“There are three qualities which if a person does not possess, his action remains incomplete piety which safeguards him from acts of disobedience to Allah, a good nature by means of which he maintains amicable relations with people, and clemency by means of which he retorts the rashness of the ignorant.” Prophet Mohammad (saww) [al-Kafi, v. 2, p. 116, no. 1]

O Allah, You have said, “And had they, when they were unjust to themselves, come to you and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had (also) asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Oft-returning (to mercy), Merciful.” Here I am, before you, asking Allah’s forgiveness, repenting from my sins, and seeking your intercession for me before Almighty Allah—your and my Lord—that He may forgive my sins.  Ziyarat Holy Prophet (saww)

 “He (Imam Husayn) sees those who come to his shrine and he knows them by their names, their father's names and their ranks in the eyes of Allah, The Mighty, The Glorious, better than you know your own children!” Imam as-Sadiq (as) [Wasaail ash-Shiah, vol. 14, pg. 411]

“Anyone who cannot afford to make the atonement for their sins should send Salawāt upon Muhammad (SA) and his Household (AS) as it eliminates sins.” Imam Ali Reza (as) [Uyun Akhbar Reza, vol. 1, p. 294]

 “My God, let the cloud of Your mercy cast its shadow upon my sins and send the billow of Your clemency flowing over my faults!” Al-Sahifa Al-Sajjadiya- Prayer of the repenters

“O’ my Lord, the affliction is great, the concealment has gone away and the veil is uncovered, and the hope has come to an end, the Earth has become tightened and the Heaven has averted, You are the helper and unto You we laid our complaint, we rely on You when on difficulties and when on comfort.” Dua Faraj

“Patience is of two kinds, patience over what pains you, and patience against what you covet.” Imam Ali (as) [Nahjul Balagha, saying no. 55]

“In the cold darkness of miseries and despair, the warm light of your shrine brightens my heart. The beam of hope illuminates my world and I find myself immersed in tranquillity.”

 The most favorable deeds to God Almighty include making a believer happy, feeding his hunger, removing his obstacles, or paying off his debts.Imam Sadiq (as) [al-Kafi, vol. 2, pg. 192]

 “The life of this world is nothing but the wares of deception.” Holy Quran (3:185)

  “O Allah, verily I ask You with the asking of a submissive, abased and lowly man to show me forbearance, to have mercy on me. And to make me satisfied and content with Your appointment and [make me] humble in every state.” Dua Kumayl

“and those who do not believe in the Hereafter surely deviate from the path.” Holy Quran(23:74)

“O Allah, forgive me those sins which draw down adversities!” Dua Kumayl

  “Have they not regarded the birds disposed of in the air of the sky: no one sustains them except Allah. There are indeed signs in that for a people who have faith.” Holy Quran (16:79)

 “How should I forget Thee, while Thou never ceasest remembering me? How should I be diverted from Thee while Thou art my constant watcher?” Al-Sahifa Al-Sajjadiya

 “Place all your hope in Allah, glory be to Him, and do not hope from anyone else apart from Him, for no sooner does anyone place his hope in anyone other than Allah than he fails.” Imam Ali (a.s.) [Ghurar al-Hikam, no. 2511]

“The arrival of Imam Mahdi is the promise of Allah. He will come. So be patient! Allah’s promise is indeed true. And do not let yourself be upset by those who have no conviction.” Holy Quran (30:60)

“O' You who are the helper of those seeking help! O' You who are dear to the hearts of those who truly believe in You!  And o' You who are the Lord of the worlds.” Dua Kumayl

   “Peace be on Hussain, who established the true faith by giving his life in the way of Allah, a martyr, underwent untold hardships at the hand of rouges and lawbreakers!”

  “Allah—there is no god except Him—is the Living One, the All-sustainer. Neither drowsiness befalls Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that may intercede with Him except with His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not comprehend anything of His knowledge except what He wishes. His seat embraces the heavens and the earth and He is not wearied by their preservation, and He is the All-exalted, the All-supreme.” Holy Quran (2:255)

   “Make the stillness of my heart, the comfort of my soul, my independence, and my sufficiency lie in You and the best of Your creatures!”

  “O you who have faith! Spend out of what We have provided you before there comes a day on which there will be no bargaining, neither friendship nor intercession. And the faithless—they are the wrongdoers.” Holy Quran (2:254)

 O Hussain (as)! Certainly, by killing you, they have killed the true manifestation of Islam...

Verily, among the qualities that greatly develop ones faith is abstention from worldly pleasures.” Imam Ali (A.S.)  [al-Kafi, vol. 2, pg. 128]
  “A man who places his amity in the wrong place is bound to suffer abandonment.” Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.)  [al-Mahasin, v. 1, p. 415, no. 950]

 And by Your might, O Allah, be kind to me in all states; And be gracious to me in all affairs! My God and my Lord! Have I any but You from whom to ask removal of my affliction and regard for my affairs! Dua Kumayl

 “Upon their eager request, Imam Hussain (as) went towards them, but they slaughtered him. Upon our eager request, Imam Mahdi (as) will come eventually but will we be on his side or ... ?”

  “Let the weepers weep over someone like Hussain, for verily weeping over him reduces the burden of great sins.”  Imam Reza (AS) [Wasa’il al-Shi’ah, v. 1, p. 394, no. 8]

   “From the same pulpit on which used to sit Allah's Wali, Who's this bribing people to kill his son Hussain ibn Ali! On the 4th of Muharram through the speech of ibn Zyad, More than 13000 men joined the troops of Omar bin Sa'd, Oh the people of Kufa, in history never will be good your portrayal, For you would always be remembered for your betrayal.”

  “Oh, people! embark the ark of salvation, For this ark will surely reach its destination, No matter if you are already drowned in sins, The month of tears just begins, Wherein the sins get wiped by the flood of tears, When the captain is Hussein (as), away are all fears, What's the secret of this pain, Oh Hussein (as), We remember yours And our's disappears!”

Whoever kills a sparrow in vain, it will cry out to God against him on the Day of Resurrection saying, O my Lord, ask him why he killed me in vain and did not kill me for any useful purpose.” Prophet Mohammad (saww) [Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 61, p. 270]
